Dandos is cool. but sometimes $$$. In any case, do this first. The Detonation sensor harness is near the back of the engine. There are 3 harnesses in that are. Make SURE that all teh harnesses are hooked up right. When I pulled the plenum to install the 555 injectors, i accidently swapped the harness with each other. Only symtom i had was i was in safty boost. I hit 7 psi, no prob. but i could not go past that (hence, safety boost). BUT, i checked EVERYTHING. I checked with a multimeter for the continuty of every wire, and for some reason, either i have one f*cked up multimeter, or i was drunk or something, but everything checked out. Finally i looked at the wire colors. Thats when i figured out i had them wrong...swapped the harnesses, cleared the ECU, and I was boosting 15 psi. try all that first. Its worth it to even save 60 bucks. Only thing that bugs me is that since it worked for a few days and then went bad again, that might mean a loose connection on the detonation sensor. Maybe some dialectic grease in teh harness will help? Also, try to clear the ecu and then see if the detonation sensor code comes back. If the code is old, your barking up the wrong tree. : I had my turbos replaced, and i changed my fuel filter, air filter, pcv, every vacume line i could get to. When i brought it home it had no power, i could hear the turbos spool up and everything but the car wouldnt pull. Two days ago i drove it and everything was fine, it was fast and i was getting + boost under 3K RPM, but all the sudden it went back to the way it was. Now i dont get + boost in first gear untill im past 5k RPM and the car is not going anywhere. I did a ECU diag and it gave me code 34 which is the detonation sensor, but would that be the problem to all these confusion, and hesitaions. Thank you bye.
